Share a little back story? How did you guys meet? Who made the first move?
We met in a very wet and muddy field at Leeds Festival in 2011
Where and when was the proposal?
The proposal was after a long day moving into our new house, and our dog Merlin came running down the stairs with a tiny tuxedo in his mouth (he was supposed to be wearing it but it was too small!) and then Jonny followed after. It was very low key but perfect
What was the favourite part of your wedding day?
My favourite part of the day was having a moment to ourselves eating canapés after all the formality of the day was over and dancing round the empty ballroom together. Jonny’s favourite was dancing at the evening reception and singing along to Dakota by Stereophonics at the top of our voices surrounded by all of our friends.
What was it that made you choose Simply Beautiful Photo & Film to capture your day?
My mum actually found Simply Beautiful photo and film somehow, I still to this day have no idea how because she’s not very good and social media but she mentioned you and we looked on the Instagram and decided you were perfect for what we wanted.
Have you got any top tips for couples who are planning their wedding?
My top tip would be to have a definite cut off date for getting everything done. Don’t be running around doing last minute things the night before, just stop and enjoy the evening together surrounded by everyone who has come together from all over the country ready for the excitement the following day.
