AN OWSTON HALL WEDDING: CAITLIN & JAMIE

Share a little back story?  How did you guys meet?  Who made the first move?

We met at college, we both started doing media, I sat next to Jamie in a lesson, looked into his eyes and I was smitten. I invited him to my house (he wussed out the first time), but he kissed me first, and it was terrible as I wasn’t ready

Where and when was the proposal?

The proposal was in our old home. It was my birthday and Jamie made me breakfast (a rarity), and used our cat “Snacks” to propose, but writing that my gift was “with the void that screams” (he was a talkative black cat) 

What was the favourite part of your wedding day?

I enjoyed it all, but the ceremony was the best part for me. Getting to do our vows and see Jamie as I walked down the aisle – it went too quickly!

If I’m honest, I don’t even know how I found you guys originally, but I’m so glad I did!! I looked through Simply Beautiful’s work, and loved how you captured natural moments.

Have you got any top tips for couples who are planning their wedding?

I really wouldn’t worry about the small things. You think you’ll care about them, but on the day, you’ll just be so happy and overwhelmed, that you won’t care. The most important part of the day is marrying your partner.
