A GORSE HILL WEDDING: SOPHIE & HARRY
Share a little back story? How did you guys meet? Who made the first move?
Yes of course- we met online after both coming out of long-term relationships we’ve always felt like it was fate that this happened to both of us. We went to the zoo on our first date Harry made the first move and many more cocktail themed dates were had before we finally got together in 2017. I was meant to go on Spring break for a girl’s holiday in Mexico but ended up taking Harry instead only months into our relationship and the rest is history.
Where and when was the proposal?
Harry always joked that he wouldn’t propose till we had been together for 10 years, we moved into our first home in 2021, so I was not expecting it at all- he proposed on our 5th anniversary in Paris in Oct 2022 which was absolutely magical.
What was it that made you choose Simply Beautiful Photo & Film to capture your day?
We chose Simply Beautiful Photo & Film after scanning Instagram watching wedding videos and seeing genuine reviews from the team. We fell in love with the style of their photos, everyone laughing, smiling, and getting all the shots that you want on your day.
Have you got any top tips for couples who are planning their wedding?
Newly engaged couples I would encourage to just relax and trust you’re in safe hands with the team at simply beautiful- we did, and it was so great having a part of the wedding I wasn’t worried about at all. The engagement shoots really helped us feel more confident, and our photographer Sally was part of our family for the day which is exactly what we wanted
