Share a little back story?  How did you guys meet?  Who made the first move? 

We met when started working together, seven and a half years ago. It was not your typcial office job, it was touring theatre. This mean living together, working together and driving around the country in a van together. So, not your typcial start to a new relationship!

We were friends first of all, but fell in love quickly as we just worked. It’s still in debate who made the first move, as we were both drawn to each other at the same time.

 

Where and when was the proposal?

The proposal happen two and a half years before our big day in the snow, next to a frozen lake where it was beautifully planned but completely unexpected. To this day, we are still not sure a ‘yes’ was ever given, as the shock and excitement of it all completely took over. The reply ‘you actually bought a ring!!’ and ‘can I try it on?!’ is all we can recall.

What was the favourite part of your wedding day?
Our wedding day was perfect, so choosing a singular favourite moment is very difficult, but we are both in agreeance that the ceremony was one hundred percentage the lovely, relaxed and personal moment we had dreamed of having.

 

What was it that made you choose Simply Beautiful Photo & Film to capture your day?

 In the process of planning we looked at a lot of different photography options, but everytime we looked at someone new we were drawn back to Simply Photo & Film. We loved the consistency in quality and care in all of their photos, even though they are a team of several different photographers, they all have the same end goal of producing gorgeous photos that capture the precious moments of the day. We also felt the style and feel of the photos matched our vision of the day well.

 

 

Have you got any top tips for couples who are planning their wedding?

We agreed from the get go that we were not going to compromise on photo and film, and that would be our strongest advice for anyone planning their day. Don’t cut yourself short on getting a good quality photography package. Most of what you have from the day you will end up selling, chucking or passing on after the day, but the photos and your film are something that you will have forever!
