A CHESTERFIELDS WEDDING: SHANITA & CLIVE

Share a little back story?  How did you guys meet?  Who made the first move?

We had our first date and Knightsbridge in Canberra, Australia. Clive was coming straight from work as a government employee, Shanita expected him to be suited and booted… so she got dressed to the nines, and he rocked up in shorts and a hoodie… they spent the whole night laughing and chatting and lost track of time.

Where and when was the proposal?

Clive finally proposed after 6 and a half years at the arboretum, where they had spent their second date. He designed an incredible ring with an opal from her mum’s hometown. Shanita had to wait a bit longer for international borders to reopen so they could have the wedding in Clive’s hometown of Chester.

What was the favourite part of your wedding day?

Being surrounded by loved ones and merging our lives with everyone from Australia and England. A truly once-in-a-lifetime event!

Focus on the details most important to you and make sure to request Alex & Ollie! Alex was incredible throughout the whole process and on the day the two of them were a hit with all the guests. They make excellent company and are hilarious, making us both feel extremely comfortable.
