A COLSHAW HALL WEDDING: BILLIE & MATT
Share a little back story? How did you guys meet? Who made the first move?
We met for the first time at a friend’s birthday party, Matt asked for Billie’s number but denies it to this day. Matt promised a lavish Spinningfields date but instead we ended up at Nando’s and the friendship bar. We then went on many more dates for food, drinking and the cinema. And then many many many more dates later (six months’ worth of dates to be precise) till Matt drunkingly asked me to be his girlfriend, I said no and told him to ask me when he was sober. The rest is history!
Where and when was the proposal?
The proposal was at Matt’s parents’ house June 2022
What was the favourite part of your wedding day?
My favourite part was seeing all my family and friends having so much fun and the Irish song at the end of the speeches.

Have you got any top tips for couples who are planning their wedding?
Just enjoy it because it comes and go so fast and if you’re lucky it’s the only wedding you’ll ever plan. And always agree with your future wife!.
