A DOWER HOUSE HOTEL WEDDING: ANTONIA & ADAM

Share a little backstory? How did you guys meet? Who made the first move?
We met in a bar in Lincoln, where we were both out with our separate friend groups. Adam was talking to one of my friends, whom he knew, and he then asked her if he could speak to me. It went from there! We met two weeks before the lockdown in 2020, so before we could go on an actual date, we got to know each other over video calls. Later, we were able to go on socially distanced walks together!

Where and when was the proposal?
Adam proposed while we were on holiday in Lanzarote in October 2022.

What was the favorite part of your wedding day?
We don’t have a favorite part in particular; we both feel the day went perfectly, and we loved all of it. We genuinely couldn’t have wished for anything better! Xx

You were recommended by our venue, for a start, and after looking at loads of your beautiful photos, we knew your style matched what we wanted for our photos. Then, after the initial video call with SJ, we were certain. It was a gut feeling, if you will, but we 100% know we made the right call and couldn’t be more thankful to have had you photograph and film our special day.

Have you got any top tips for couples who are planning their wedding?
Everyone probably says this, but remember that it’s your day, and you should do what makes you happy. We stuck to our guns, despite people trying to force their opinions, and we’re so glad we did. Our day was exactly as we wanted it to be, and that’s what we see when looking back at our pictures—just how perfect it was for us both.
