Helen & Stuart had a glorious Summer’s wedding at the beautiful Hartfield Manor in Surrey.

Share a little back story? How did you guys meet? Who made the first move?

We met the first week of university in October 2010 on a lab coat pub crawl in a pub called The Gladstone in Brighton. We were good friends for 6 months before I realised that Stuart was the man of my dreams!

Where and when was the proposal?

Stuart got down on one knee on 2nd October 2022 in Queen Mary’s Woods near my parents’ house, on a lovely relaxed dog walk with my mum’s cavvie Rosie – it was a total surprise!

What was the favourite part of your wedding day?

Our favourite part of the wedding day was seeing each other for the first time in St Elphege’s Church from either end of the aisle.

Have you got any top tips for couples who are planning their wedding?

Make sure you start planning as early as you can so that you can enjoy the lead up to the wedding (relatively) stress free!

Even If you are on a budget, prioritise your photo/videographer as they will capture the special moments that go by in a flash (cliché but true!) forever, and help to make the day run smoothly!
