A HAWKSTONE HALL WEDDING: DANIELLE & ANDREW

Share a little back story?  How did you guys meet?  Who made the first move?

Andrew and I met at school but didn’t get together until we left. I was 17 and he was 18. We started talking at a friend’s house party and got on really well.  We all went on a  day out to Barmouth; travelling in our friend’s car and we’re sat next to each other, we spoke the whole way and way back. It was a super hot day and this is where it all really started I was in my bikini and Andrew was across the beach when he caught a glimpse of me from far away (not realising it was me ) and thought ohhh who is that just and he realised it was me ! Hahaha he said from them he realised it was more than just a friendship. Andrew isn’t a huge romantic but I know it would have taken huge guts to ask me to marry him I thought he was joking when he asked as he was a little drunk and we were eating pizza at home (told you not hugely romantic) haha I laughed it off and said “ok ask again in the morning “ as it wasn’t the first time he had asked a little tipsy and there was never a ring and a sheepish face. In the morning but to my suprise out popped the most perfect ring. 

What was the favourite part of your wedding day?

My favourite part of the day of the wedding was arriving at the church and realising it was finally happening we were getting married.  It felt so calming in the church knowing he was in there with all our friends and family waiting for me. 

Andrews’s favourite part of the day was seeing our son walk me to him down the aisle.

Our advice would be if you think you want it book it! Take everything in your stride spend the day together and let everyone else do things for you do not sweat the small stuff and remember the most important thing , your there for the two of you not everyone else and what they want were so glad we did it our way.

We chose Simply Beautiful to capture our day as we could see the natural beautiful moments you capture rather than a million staged photos that don’t tell a story of the day, your photos we noticed tell a beautiful story of the day from start to finish even the family ones still look so natural and not awkward you made everyone at ease and not in a bad way but I didn’t notice you around when you were snapping away taking all the shots we were able to enjoy our first day as husband and wife with our friends and family with our being pulled away for hours but still have the most beautiful moments captured.
