Share a little back story? How did you guys meet? Who made the first move?
We met at Huddersfield Students Union back in 2012 and were just colleagues for a long time. It was only around 18 months after that, we realised we were more than friends and since 2014 we’ve never looked back!
Where and when was the proposal?
We got engaged in Val d’Isere on 12th March 2019 at the bottom of a ski slope while having a morning beverage! Matt went to get my gloves out of the rucksack for me and instead he turned around with a tiny box and got down on one knee
What was the favourite part of your wedding day?
Our favourite part of the wedding was the fact that we finally got all our family and friends together to celebrate our wedding in style.
What was it that made you choose Simply Beautiful Photo & Film to capture your day?
We chose Simply Beautiful after a photographer friend recommended them! We loved the style and feel of the photography and felt like we clicked with Sarah straight away which was important to us.
Have you got any top tips for couples who are planning their wedding?
It goes so fast so take a minute to step back and watch it all in full swing. It’s months and months of planning, but you only get a few hours to enjoy it, so be selfish and soak it all in!
