Share a little back story?  How did you guys meet?  Who made the first move? Where and when was the proposal?

Our Back story – we have been together since October 2013, young loves dream. Fast forward 5 years and whilst on holiday in Cuba Hayd popped the question on the beach. Of course I said yes! In 2021 we moved into our first home together and bought our two fur babies. The wedding planning began to take place and felt a world away until our day. 2024 was a whirlwind year for us, we moved house, welcomed our baby girl Sofia in April and finally our wedding day arrived in November! 

What was the favourite part of your wedding day?

There are so many things we could say were our favourite, from walking down the aisle to having our baby daughter with us and listening to the loving words of our friends and family in their speeches. But for us our first dance was our favourite part; It was a moment just for us to enjoy as a newly wed couple to reflect on the day and was the start to our evening celebrations which brought us so many laughs and core memories with our guests.  

Have you got any top tips for couples who are planning their wedding?

Tips for couples planning their wedding – spend your money on the things that are going to stay with you forever such as your photography instead of small things that you can do yourself or for a fraction of price! Your photography is memories that will stay with you forever, it is a constant reminder of the love a couple has and can be looked back on in years to come. 

On the day spend as much time with each other as possible; it goes by so fast and you don’t want to regret not being with each other as much as you wanted to! And most importantly enjoy every single second, some things might not go perfectly but in the end it doesn’t matter at all, it’s your love for each other that’s the main priority.
