Share a little back story? How did you guys meet? Who made the first move?
We met in 2015 at the University of Nottingham where we both studied Civil Engineering. We were friends, and got to know each other during a surveying field trip. On a night out with friends, we finally got together and the rest is history!
Where and when was the proposal?
Ryan proposed on the beach in Cancun, Mexico in 2022. It was absolutely perfect!
What was the favourite part of your wedding day?
Seeing each other at the end of the aisle was so moving for both of us. The whole day went so well and we felt very loved by all our family and friends who were there. The speeches were wonderful and we also really enjoyed performing our first dance, and celebrating afterwards with all our guests. Our band was also fantastic and filled up the dance floor!
What was it that made you choose Simply Beautiful Photo & Film to capture your day?
We looked through a few couples’ galleries and felt that the photography and editing style was perfect and captured all the emotions and moments of the day. We also love the option to add video and get both photo and video from two angles! Sarah Jane was wonderful throughout and made the process very smooth and easy for us!
Have you got any top tips for couples who are planning their wedding?
Relax and enjoy it all! Don’t worry about the details if you can help it – focus on the bigger picture. And don’t leave lots of the small tasks to the last minute! Try to tick off as much as you can before the last month or two, so that it’s less stressful closer to the day.
