A NUTHURST GRANGE WEDDING: CHARLOTTE & JAMES

Share a little back story?  How did you guys meet?  Who made the first move?

We met online although we probably should have met in person considering we were doing the same apprenticeship at the same college and I was one year ahead of Charlotte. I woo’d her with a cup of black tea as I didn’t have any milk in the fridge. 

Where and when was the proposal?

I proposed at Disneyland Paris in May 2022 (the place we went on our first holiday and returned to post lockdown).

What was the favourite part of your wedding day?

My favourite part was probably exchanging vows and the fact we were laughing and joking through it. That or the space hoppers.

What was it that made you choose Simply Beautiful Photo & Film to capture your day?

I liked the quality and style of photography and how natural all of the photos looked as we didn’t want anything too staged. 

Have you got any top tips for couples who are planning their wedding?

My advice is don’t panic and don’t have too much of a plan. We let all of our vendors guide us and if anything went wrong on the day we didn’t notice. Our day was perfect for us and I wouldn’t change a thing, also trust Jenna she’s a miracle worker!
