AN ORCHARDLEIGH HOUSE WEDDING: DANIELLE & RICHARD
How did you guys meet?
We met at university both studying Computer Science. A friend suggested to Dan to come to the Student Union to meet some of the boys. One of the boys was Rich and the rest is history!
Who made the first move?
Rich did! Dan added him on Facebook (very 2010s…) and Rich messaged immediately after accepting and we’ve spoke every day since!
Where and when was the proposal?
It was 2020. Dan got fed up of waiting for Rich to propose, so with it being a leap year, she decided to do it! It was at home after a movie marathon.
What was the favourite part of your wedding day?
Our favourite part of the day was seeing each other at the aisle. It was emotions that no one prepares you for and was so surreal. The moment we saw each other no one else was at the wedding, everyone just melted into the background!

Have you got any top tips for couples who are planning their wedding?
The day goes so quickly, don’t worry about the small stuff! It is the very best day so just make sure its what you and your partner want and the rest will melt away
