A PRESTWOLD HALL WEDDING: REBECCA & NICOLAS

 Bex and Nic got married at the utterly stunning Prestwold Hall in Prestwold, the day was perfect.  thank you for trusting us with your memories.  xx

Share a little back story?  How did you guys meet?  Who made the first move? We met in a local pub through my brother when he spontaneously invited Nick (who was a friend he made when he first started his new Sixth Form college) to join us for drink, but we didn’t get together until we went away to Australia as a group with Nick’s brother and my brother and cousins a few years later!

Where and when was the proposal? The proposal was by Rutland Water on October 13th 2018, on a bench that we had sat on a month or two earlier contemplating the future. Nick chose it because it was quiet and personal, and a really sentimental spot to the both of us.

What was the favourite part of your wedding day? For Bex: walking down the aisle and seeing NIck’s face for the first time (whilst trying not to cry my eyes out!). For Nick: the whole ceremony

What was it that made you choose Simply Beautiful Photo & Film to capture your day? The website showed pictures that were exactly what we liked in terms of look and candour, and the friendliness and professionalism of the team (especially Sarah Jane who we spoke to a lot during the process) was second to none. 

Have you got any top tips for couples who are planning their wedding? Don’t be afraid to ask for help or advice, it’s not something most people have done before so don’t be afraid to ask silly questions to understand what things mean or how processes run!
