A MOAT HOUSE WEDDING: RACHEL & KEITH

Share a little back story?  How did you guys meet?  Who made the first move?

We met at work, I was the receptionist at the children’s centre and Keith was the education welfare officer so they would use the centre for meetings with parents – Keith would think of any excuse possible to come into the office (usually to use the printer which I later learned was just to print random documents that he didn’t actually need) – everyone else knew that he liked me but he never told me!

Keith is in a band and he would speak about them a lot and one Friday night they were playing at the Sugar Mmill in Stoke so I just bit the bullet and booked a ticket and turned up on the night to surprise him – the rest is history (it’s a good job really or=

 I’d have looked a right idiot there on my own otherwise )! So I guess I made the first move really!

Where and when was the proposal?

Keith proposed on the rooftop terrace of the Gotham Hotel in Manchester in May 2022!

What was the favourite part of your wedding day?

Our favourite part of our wedding day was the time we spent together before the ceremony, the most untraditional thing we did but it was so nice to see eachother privately and get all of our nerves out and actually spend abit of time together before “the show”

What was it that made you choose Simply Beautiful Photo & Film to capture your day?

We chose Simply Beautiful because we loved the style of their images from previous work and they offered everything we wanted in a reasonably priced package.

Have you got any top tips for couples who are planning their wedding?

The biggest tip we would give couples planning their big day is to just chill out! The outcome of the day remains the same regardless of where you do it, when you do it or how much it all costs – you’ll be married either way  do things the way you want and embrace the chaos!
