A STOKE BY NAYLAND WEDDING: SOPHIE & THOMAS

How did you guys meet?
We actually met on Tinder! Neither of us probably expected that a swipe right would eventually lead us here, but we’re very glad it did. 

Who made the first move?
Tom definitely made the first move! Although I’m sure he’d say it was a very good decision! 

Where and when was the proposal?
Tom proposed on 23rd July 2024 while we were on a family holiday in Bulgaria. It was such a special moment, especially being able to share such a huge milestone while we were all away together as a family.

What was the favourite part of your wedding day?
Honestly, seeing everyone having such a brilliant time. Everyone was so chilled, relaxed and just completely enjoying themselves. Seeing all the people we love together, laughing, dancing and having fun was probably our favourite part of the whole day. It just felt so happy and easy.

What was it that made you choose Simply Beautiful Photo & Film to capture your day?
As soon as I spoke to Sarah, I just knew she was the photographer for us. She completely understood my vision and what I wanted from the day, but more importantly, she made me feel at ease straight away. I felt like I could completely trust her to capture everything naturally and beautifully, which was really important to me.

Have you got any top tips for couples who are planning their wedding?
Write a list of the things that are really important to you both and budget around those first. Don’t get too caught up in trying to make everything perfect — the day goes by so quickly! Most importantly, relax, soak it all in and enjoy every second together. The things you think you’ll worry about beforehand really don’t matter on the day.
