Share a little back story? How did you guys meet? Who made the first move?
We met at a house share in Manchester, I had moved from North Wales for work and Chris was already living there. We used to make cups of tea and chat whilst I was revising for my exams then starting spending more and more time together.
Chris made the first move on a drunken night out with our friends, we laughed about it the next day and we have been together since.
The proposal was in Edinburgh on a weekend away, I was pregnant with Ophelia and we were having one last break before we became a family of three. It was really cold and beautiful in some little gardens near the castle.
What was the favourite part of your wedding day?
The best part of the wedding day was in the early evening, looking around at all our friends and family standing in the evening sun. Everyone looked so happy and relaxed, it was exactly what we had hoped for.
What was it that made you choose Simply Beautiful Photo & Film to capture your day?
Two of my best friends had already used you to capture their weddings and the pictures were amazing but more importantly both sets of photographers were just so nice to have around and I knew you would make our friends and family reel comfortable.
Have you got any top tips for couples who are planning their wedding?
Tips – try not to overthink it too much, prepare to spend lots more than you expect and enjoy every minute!
